Bring the entire family trackside and enjoy the afternoon benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass!

Welcome to the 2026 T-Rex Races event! Get ready for a roaring good time on Sun, Aug 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Red Mile Gaming & Racing. Join us for a day filled with prehistoric fun as participants race against each other in their inflatable T-Rex costumes. It's going to be a dino-mite experience you won't want to miss!

Races will take place in between live harness racing: 8 years old and under, 9 years old - 13 years old, Any Blow Up Costume Race (14 years old and above), and the famed T-Rex Race! (14 years old and above) Please ensure that you purchase the correct ticket based off of your age. No refunds will be issued.

Not ready for the thrill of the run? Don't worry! There will be plenty of other activities to enjoy including food trucks, facepainting, stick horses, cornhole, and more!

Frequently asked questions:

Q: Will costumes be provided?

A: Racers are responsible for providing their own inflatable costumes. Red Mile will provide tails for children under the age of 8.

Q: Are there any age restrictions?

A: No! This event is for all ages, big or small! There will be three age brackets for racers: Young Child (8 & Under), Child (9-13), and Adult (14+).

Q: Do I have to wear a T-Rex costume?

A: Any inflatable costume counts! There will be a separate race for all inflatable costumes that are not T-Rex costumes. Children ages 8 and under will be provided with a T-Rex tail that they may wear.

Q: Am I allowed to get a refund?

A: Unfortunately, Red Mile will not be able to provide refunds for this event. All of the money raised will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.

Q: How much does it cost to spectate?

A: Spectating is FREE! Bring the whole family out to cheer on your racer or to enjoy all activities.
